I have also denounced official corruption in my books. I even went to the extent of writing a book called Greenspan?s Fraud in 2005, suggesting that the world famous banker and Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Alan Greenspan, had actually committed fraud on the American people and the world economy. At first, people laughed at my criticism, but now you can go on Google, type in the words "ravi batra and greenspan?s fraud," and you will find hundreds of articles commenting on, and even agreeing with my views.
Mr. Grillo, if we want to bring lasting change in society, then we must offer fresh ideas about economic reform. This is what I have done in my latest book, "The New Golden Age: The Coming Revolution against Political Corruption and Economic Chaos". I argue that there is a lot of poverty everywhere in the world, including the advanced economies such as America and Italy and the only cause of poverty is official corruption that favors policies to benefit the rich. That is why every nation needs economic democracy wherein at least 51 % of shares in a large company are owned by employees themselves so that they control and manage their company. This type of system would eliminate poverty from the globe. Of course, such a system would require a revolution, which I am predicting will occur in the next decade. In fact, I am predicting the rise of popular movements such as yours all over the world, and your success in capturing attention in media and Italian politics suggests to me that my forecasts would indeed come true in time.
